On Friday 13 June and Saturday 14 June the CCC and JYA has been a very successful racing France.
It began on Friday at Tregeux, a semi nocturnal race, CCC rider Tom Huelin, riding for CC Plancoet, got a 5th place finish in a strong field of Open2/3 riders.
Then on Saturday 14th at Pleslin Trigavou, in an combined Open 3, Access 1-4 race JYA riders Ollie Hamon and Tom Nisbet plus CCC riders Adam Wojtkiewicz and Oliver Pinel raced 77 laps of a 1k circuit.
Ollie and Adam got away with a fairly large breakaway group. Ollie Hamon finished a hugely impressive 3rd place overall in a field of 80 riders. A podium place for the U19 Open 3 rider and CC Plancoet . Adam Wojtkiewicz riding for CCC won his category (Access 2) and got 7th overall .
Another great ride and trophy for Adam . Oliver Pinel riding only his second race in France had an excellent race too, finishing 22nd overall and 6th in his category (Access 2). Tom Nisbet, after going off the front on the second last lap but getting caught on the home straight, also finished in the bunch.
So a successful weekend of racing in France.
